Make sure it is the right notice
Check the recruiting body, exam or post name, notice date and year. If a link came from social media or a message group, find the same notice on the official website before acting.
Find these details first
- Who can apply, including age and education rules.
- How many posts are listed and whether the notice gives category details.
- Application start and closing dates, fee details and the official application link.
- The selection steps, exam pattern and syllabus.
- Which documents are needed and how to contact the recruiting body.
Read the instructions around each date
A notice may give different dates for applying, paying a fee, correcting an application or downloading an admit card. Note each date beside the action it applies to. Do not rely on a date shown in a short social media post.
Keep the notice for later
Save the official PDF or bookmark its page. Before applying, read the full notice again. If a later notice changes a rule or date, follow the latest official instruction.
