Go to the recruiting body’s website
A post, video or forwarded message can help you discover that an update may exist. Before sharing or acting on it, look for the notice on the official website of the board or recruiting body.
Check the notice itself
- Look for the notice number and date, if provided.
- Confirm that the exam or post name matches your application.
- Read the full PDF, including notes and conditions.
- Check whether a newer notice has changed or cancelled it.
Be careful with links and personal details
Use the application or result link given by the official body. Avoid entering passwords, payment details or application information on a page just because a message says it is urgent.
When details do not match
Wait for confirmation from the official source. Do not treat an unverified post as a confirmed exam date or result. Keep the official notice link so you can check it again later.
