Do not look only at your score
Your score tells you how one practice test went. The answer review tells you what to do next. Check correct answers too if you guessed or took a long time to solve them.
Sort mistakes into groups
- Topic gap: you need to learn or revise the idea.
- Reading error: you missed a word or instruction.
- Calculation error: your method was right but the working went wrong.
- Time issue: you spent too long or left questions unfinished.
Keep a short mistake log
Write the topic, the kind of mistake and one action to fix it. For example: “Fractions — calculation error — practise five questions and check each step.” Review this list before your next mock test.
Practise again after a short gap
Try similar questions after revising the topic. If you can solve them without repeating the same mistake, the review helped. Keep using the latest official syllabus to choose what deserves your time.
